Some people attempt to hide their affiliate links by using a URL shortening service or something to get a different URL that cannot be edited. However, I would not recommend that. You could select a service that will break your affiliate cookies and you won’t get the sales at all. More recently there have been a few link cloaking services that are directly related to affiliate marketing – these are the ones to get to help you with this problem.
Make sure you select one that can be hosted on your own site and that will allow you to change the links, etc. You probably shouldn’t try and make your own redirect script (unless you’re a programmer) – you might end up not having any affiliate cookiesl.
